Why should I hire a professional organizer?
Not everyone has the time or skills to create systems to organize their space, time, or information. As a professional organizing and productivity company with over 15 years experience in our field, we can help you accomplish your organization or productivity goal(s) more quickly and efficiently than you could achieve on your own. We provide the encouraging and non-judgmental voice you need to get the job done.
How long will it take to get organized?
Every client and situation is different. How long a project takes depends on the scope of what you hope to accomplish, what “being organized” means to you, frequency and duration of sessions, how much “homework” you are willing and able to take on, and how quickly you are able to make decisions when decluttering, filing, etc.
Do I need to be present while you are organizing?
For most projects, it is important that you be on-site. In order to create a system and solution that is customized to your needs, you need to be available to make decisions about your “stuff”, the things you want to organize, and the final outcome you desire. We can do some of the work on our own, such as sorting like items together and putting together the organizing system, but it’s important for your to be present for any decisions that need to be made about your “stuff” and where it needs to live.
Do you have a minimum number of hours for an organizing session?
Virtual organizing and virtual productivity coaching are typically done in 60 to 90 minute sessions over the phone or via video chat.
Do you have a team of organizers working with you?
Most often I work one-on-one with clients creating organization and productivity solutions that are personalized to their needs and lifestyle. However, larger jobs such as garages and relocation services are completed in conjunction with independent contractors under the supervision of More Time For You. Regardless, all work is done with complete confidentiality and we carry the necessary level of insurance to protect against damage to you and your property while we are working on your organizing project.
What if a job requires additional services or products (handyman, painter, furniture solutions, or built in storage)?
We have relationships with many outside service providers and will be happy to make referrals and/or coordinate the service or products needed.
How can a professional organizer help me deal with my ADD/ADHD?
In dealing with the challenges of ADD or ADHD, it’s crucial to create systems and routines in order to lead a calmer and more productive life. More Time For You will help you to design the necessary systems so you can: find what you need when you need it, complete important tasks from beginning to end, and manage your time in order to honor commitments to yourself and those you care about.
